My Fitness Journey back to my fit self is taking a little longer than I expected. It happens to all of us, but we can’t give up and must forge on! That is what I am doing. I have been doing some light Yoga this past week and now I am noticing more strength in holding my poses. Now that….is what keeps me motivated and excited about doing more and becoming stronger! I have been walking also, but I will be taking longer and a little faster walks.
We all can be guilty of not feeling motivated to exercise. Exercise is key to having a healthy and more enjoyable life! Incorporate some sort of exercise into your busy lives. Cardio AND strength training will keep you healthier, physically and mentally, as the years go by.
Give yourself an exercise goal. (My goal is to begin my running again as I enjoy the “Runner’s High” that I feel after I am done! ) Write YOUR Goal down and date it. Keep this note where you can see it everyday to remind yourself. The goal may be to exercise more often during the week, start exercising, walk or run farther, or faster. The goal could also include getting a friend involved in your exercise goal so they can reap the benefits like you. Getting a partner to be accountable to will help you stay committed to exercising. No one likes to let someone down once they have committed! Try it!
Now that I have committed to beginning my Fitness Journey again in writing….I ALSO have to stay committed. Please feel free to log into my site and comment or share your exercise highs and lows. Let’s do this together!
