
When I woke up today I knew it was my “running day” but I really could have just taken a shower and started my day instead. I just didn’t feel like exercising! I am so glad I threw my work out clothes on and pushed my self out the front door and hit the pavement! Sometimes when you don’t feel like exercising it is the most important time to do it. My mind had to tell my body, “get over yourself and just push through it!” I have to admit, the first 2 miles were difficult, I felt some pain and wasn’t enjoying it. But, after I got through the first 2 miles I felt myself smiling and enjoying listening to Shania Twain on my iPod. My attitude for the rest of the day stayed positive and I didn’t let any negative thoughts get in! So when you have a tough day ahead make sure you do some sort of exercise even if you don’t feel like it. Push through your exercise and you will be a much stronger person when you finish!
